Larry Eugene Sauls Jr. grew up in a family full of believers. His mother and father have always been active members of the church. His mother a praise and worship leader, his father a minister and one of his brothers a pastor. Under that influence, Larry accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of nine.

Larry has been in the music ministry as a drummer, keyboardist and praise and worship singer for many years. God was so gracious to have given Pastor Sauls a musical gift and with it, he began to play drums and piano at the age of nine at True Bible Tabernacle in Vista, Ca under the direction of his pastor, Bishop Apostle Matthew A. Bride. He would also spend the summers with his father and continue to use his musical gift at Friendly Church of God In Christ in Oceanside, Ca under the direction of Justice Pastor Thomas E. Hammonds.

Pastor Sauls surrendered to the ministry at the age of 24 and accepted his first ministry position as the praise and worship leader and Minister of Music of Mending Broken Vessel Ministries at Hosanna Chapel in Santa Maria, CA under the direction of Pastor Joe and Yvonne Bracamontes. Two years later by God’s grace, Mending Broken Vessels would license and install Pastor Sauls as the assistant pastor. His responsibilities included adult counseling, administrating the music department, bible studies, discipleship training, and evangelism. God had moved on the hearts and minds of MBV board of Directors to officially ordain Pastor Sauls to Pastoral Ministry.

August 3, 2011, The Lord would bless Pastor Sauls with a gorgeous wife Elizabeth Mae Sauls. She is a graduate of San Marcos High School and has been working as a Veterinarian Technician for over 14 years. Together they have 6 children and 5 grandchildren.

In January of 2014, Pastor Sauls said yes to God’s will to begin Atmosphere of Faith Christian Church (Creating an ATMOSPHERE where YOU can believe GOD for the IMPOSSIBLE). By the desire that God had placed on the heart of Pastor Sauls and 1st Lady Sauls, they have submitted AOFCC under the covering of Bishop Apostle Matthew A. Bride Jr; senior pastor of Grace Nation Christian Church. Pastor Sauls is a dynamic teacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ. His prolific approach and unique insight into scripture captivate your attention alongside his God-given ability to preach and teach revelatory truths with simplicity. His motto is that “Jesus is the Risen Christ living in my life and my job is to preach Jesus the Risen Christ until He’s living in your life too.”.
